Deine Tätigkeiten

Identify and qualify high-potential leads, convert them into active sales opportunities, and close high-value deals

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and budget owners

Develop and implement strategic sales approaches to acquire new business and expand market presence

Present compelling, value-driven IoT use cases tailored to the customer’s industry and needs

Collaborate closely with local sales teams to unlock new opportunities within the existing customer base

Build and manage a robust, sustainable sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting and performance tracking

Ensure consistent reporting and documentation of sales activities, pipeline development, and strategic plans
-
Analyze competitive landscapes and actively promote Deutsche Telekom’s unique selling propositions

Create and present customized proposals and contracts in collaboration with Presales, Legal, and technical experts

Represent the IoT business unit at industry events, trade shows, and customer-facing engagements
Das gesuchte Profil
-
University degree in Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent professional training with a relevant specialization

At least 5 years of B2B new business sales experience, with a strong track record of closing complex deals over €1M in Total Contract Value

Solid experience in the telecommunications sector (e.g., Telco, MNO, MVNO)

Proven, long-standing expertise in the IoT/M2M domain, particularly with connectivity and platform-based solutions

Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts with senior executives and stakeholders at C-level
-
In-depth understanding of local market requirements and customer expectations
-
Experience working in international, intercultural, and virtual teams

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships

Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering persuasive pitches and proposals
-
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
